About Campbeltown Picture House
Campbeltown Picture House is one of Scotland’s earliest purpose‑built cinemas, opening in 1913 and still at the heart of Campbeltown’s cultural life today. This Grade‑A listed building is known for its art nouveau exterior and rare atmospheric interior, offering a cinema experience that feels truly special. Carefully restored through the Centenary Project, it now combines historic character with modern facilities, including two cinema screens, a café and flexible spaces for exhibitions, education and community use.
Supporting Campbeltown Picture House means helping to protect an important community asset that brings people together through film, events and shared experiences. As a community‑owned charity run by a volunteer board, the Picture House relies on ongoing support to maintain the building, improve accessibility, reduce energy use and continue offering a welcoming space for everyone. Your support helps preserve local heritage while keeping culture and creativity alive in the town.
By choosing Campbeltown Picture House as your good cause in the All Weathers Lottery, your £1 a week provides reliable monthly funding that makes a real difference. That regular support helps keep this historic cinema open, active and affordable for the community — while you also have the chance to win cash prizes every Monday. Pick Campbeltown Picture House and help secure its future for generations to come.
